BACKGROUND – Fort Logan has requested that we limit parking as much as we can inside the Cemetery to prevent damage, provide better flow when entering and exiting, and emergency access should anything arise on Wreaths Day. Please keep in mind that the Cemetery was not designed for large events. It is a place for visitation and of Reverence and Remembrance. We strongly encourage you to carpool as much as possible!
PARKING & SHUTTLE – Parking locations are listed in proximity to Fort Logan. One parking spot is allowed per each email address. Once registered, you will receive an email with instructions and a link to a parking voucher with a map to your chosen location, which you must print and bring with you. Locations 3-9 are off-site locations and shuttles will be running from all of these locations to transport you back to Fort Logan with a drop-off point near the Ceremony. All off-site parking locations are on the East side of the Cemetery with access off of Kenyon Avenue, Lowell Blvd and Oxford Avenue. Once you arrive on Wreaths Day at your parking location, volunteers will direct you to a parking spot. Please be courteous to them and respectful of their directions.
AFTER WREATH PLACEMENTS – Once the Ceremony has concluded, Wreath distribution will begin. Shuttles will be available to transport some folks to the east side of the Cemetery for placement. After you have placed your Wreaths, shuttles to off-site parking will be running from the Information Center on the West Side and from the Administration Building on the East side.
